Currently we offer dual instruction in the RANS S-12 Airaile. We have found this to be the best aircraft for many reasons. Here are just a few:

The Airaile has side-by-side seating, which enhances communication between the student and instructor during training. It has dual controls, and can be flown solo (or dual from either seat). The landing gear is rugged enough to handle hard landings and unimproved fields. And the cockpit cage is made out of 4130 chromoly steel to provide plenty of pilot and passenger protection. It has nose wheel steering and is one of the easiest of all for landing, taxiing and parking maneuvers. The controls are conventional (3 axis), like on most other aircraft. This is very helpful, should you decide to transition into flying a more complex aircraft.

School:

We offer an FAA approved, U. S. U. A. certified pilot course. It is a step by step" Building Block process that takes you through the beginning phases, (e.g.: first pre-flight) all the way up to your final phases, (e.g.: solo flight) and every step in between. You ll learn every aspect of Ultralight flying. Including Airport Operations, emergency procedures and much more. We are dedicated to Safety. Our professional instructors are also U. S. U. A. certified.
